A the gorgeous Antique C.Tielsch Handled Plate!! With multicolored hand painted roses and a molded edge this is a truly stunning plate!! This is most likely a handled cake plate and the colors are simply wonderful!! The cake plate is marked with the Tielsch eagle & CT mark which was used during the 1870-1900 era, as well as ‘Germany’. The ‘Germany’ mark was used from 1887 onward, so this plate most likely falls in the 1887-1900 time frame! This is also marked ‘Chantilly 22142’, which is most likely the pattern name and number! The plate measures 9 1/2"Dx10 1/2"L handle to handle!
